 All of our programs are designed to fit the learning needs of WA school students and complement the WA Curriculum.

We provide active, engaging and safe workshops tailored to suit a range of year groups and occasions.


PP-Year 2 Program

School Incursions

Group Size: Formats available for any size group

Duration: 45 - 90 minutes (to fit in with School Timetable)

Circus Skills include: Plate Spinning, Hoops, Flower Sticks, Scarves, 1&2 Beanbag Juggling Games, Balancing Clubs

Safe, hands-on introduction to circus skills with a focus on:

  • Balancing

  • Gross Motor Skills

  • Simple Games and Manipulation

  • Structured Movement activities and following simple rules

  • Object Control Skills (catch, throw and balance)

  • Performance Skills

  • Creative Thinking

  • Self Expression

  • Working together and doing our best!

 Curriculum Focus for PP - Year 2:

  • Group and Interpersonal Skills

  • Development in Social and Personal Capability

  • Building Resilience

  • Managing Risk

  • Gaining Competence and Confidence


 

Year 3 and 4 Programs

School Incursions

Group Size: Formats available for any size groups

Duration: 45 - 90 minutes (to fit in with the School Timetable)

Circus Skills Include: Plate Spining, Diabolo, Juggling Beanbags, Balancing Clubs, Hoops, Flower Sticks

Safe, hands-on and engaging circus skills workshops with a focus on:

  • Gross and Fine Motor Skills

  • Object Manipulation Games

  • Safety and Fair Play

  • Combining Skills to create movement patterns

  • Structured Movement Activities

  • Controlling Movement: balance, throw, catch, introductory juggling

  • Performance Skills

  • Creative Thinking

  • Team Play and Always Having a Go!

 Curriculum Focus for Year 3 and Year 4:

  • Group and Interpersonal Skills

  • Building Resilience and Persistence

  • Working Cooperatively

  • Development in Social and Personal Capability

  • Respect and Empathy

Circus Skills Include: Diabolo, Juggling, Clubs, Hoops, Plate Spinning and Flower Sticks

*Optional: Unicycle, Stilts, Acrobatics, Poi

Safe hands-on circus skills workshops with a focus on:

  • Specialised Movement Skills ( Advanced Juggling Progressions, optional stilts, unicycle and acrobatics)

  • Developing skills through movement challenges

  • Adjustment of force and speed to improve accuracy and control

  • Spatial Awareness

 Curriculum Focus for Year 5 and Year 6:

  • Building resilience

  • Group and Interpersonal Skills

  • Self management and Autonomy

  • Taking and Managing Safe Risks

School Term Projects (Circus Concert)


Have an Edu-Circus Term! Available for the whole school, year group or multiple year group cohorts, this program is an excellent way to work together towards a common goal. Weekly workshops throughout the term for an intensive and rewarding project culminating in a student circus concert for the school community.

Group Size: Available for any number of students, eg. entire year group cohorts, multiple year groups

Duration: School term or part thereof

Circus Skills Included: Juggling, Diabolo, Plate Spinning, Hoops, Flower Sticks

*Optional: Unicycle, Stilts, Acrobatics, Poi

Throughout the term students learn the in’s and out’s of how to put on a successful performance, the importance of teams and responsibilities of roles, the structure of a rehearsal process and the reward of hard work.

 Curriculum Focus for Term Projects:

  • Creative Thinking and Performance Skills (Circus Routines and Characters)

  • Group and Interpersonal Skills (Circus Troupe)

  • Building Resilience (Committing to a ‘Circus Job’)

Camps and School Events

Circus Day

Get the whole school community involved in a day of inspiring, skilled demos and active, engaging learning games. Perfect for Reward Days, this program kicks off with an interactice show for all followed by circus skills circuits throughout the day.
